To be fixed to a pre-cast female socket. In our opinion not suitable for Man-riding application.
Drilled and Fixed Lifting Eyes
Fixed by nut and bolt arrangement to the underside of a lifting beam. Nylok nuts used at all times when the application is used for Man-riding.
Drill Through Lifting Eyes
To be located through a pre-drilled hole in the concrete slab and located through the hole, sandwiching the concrete slab.
Chemical Fix Lifting Eyes
Suitable for installation into concrete/brickwork, by means of glass capsule and anchor bolt. These lifting eyes may also be used as Lifting / Anchor Points. Unsuitable in our opinion for Man-riding purposes.

Industrial Lifting are approved suppliers, installers, and testers for PPE fall arrest safety anchor eye bolts. According to BS EN795: 1997 and BS 7883:2005, Class A1 Anchor devices (safety harness eyebolts) for fall protection should only be installed by a ‘Competent Installer’, which all of our engineers are qualified for.
We can advise on the correct type eyebolt and a suitable fixing location for whatever application necessary. Each eyebolt assembly is individually load tested and certified.
Safety harness eyebolts provide an internal fixed anchor which can be installed and fitted to a variety of load bearing building substrates. Safety eyebolts must be those specified in the British Standards for optimum safety of personnel and correctly fitted to ensure compliance with current regulations.

Industrial Lifting are specialists in the tensile load test of concrete/brick resigned/mechanically fixed anchors/threaded bar.
Whether the anchors/threaded bar have been installed into concrete or brick work, our engineers will carry out a comprehensive test on each structural anchor/threaded bar after installation.
